Been searching here and everywhere trying to find out if Toast Titanium 14 is working with the current El Capitan. Want to buy it for my brand new iMac but have been seeing a lot of comments about it still not being compatible and the using Toast 10 would be better. Thanks so much for the help.

I use Toast Titanium 7 and it works perfectly with 10.11.2. Didn't see any reason to update since I only burn CDs and never BluRay. I've read a lot of complaints about Toast Titanium 14 but I haven't actually tried it so it could just be internet crybabies.

I use Toast Titanium 14.1 with the HD/BD Plug-In that I got with Toast 11. My main OS is 10.11.3. Toast 14 works fine and is much faster than previous versions. The old BD Plug-In still works with the current version.

I have two internal LG drives. One is a DVD drive the other is Blu-Ray.

Thanks for this info. This is the exact situation that I am in. I just need to be able to burn dvds of slideshows I create in iPhoto. I'll check into buying 7.

^^^^You asked about Toast 14 and wanted to know if it worked in El Cap. I told you it did and is much faster than previous versions. Now you're investigating buying software that is 12 years old????????? Oh well, to each his own?????? Sorry I wasted my time!

I am just checking into all the options. The more I search the topic the more complaints I keep coming up with for people trying to use Toast 14 on their computers with El Capitan installed. Some people can't even get it to install. Just trying to make an informed choice. I figure I can just buy 14 and try it out and if it doesn't work I can get a refund.

Toast 14 works fine for me too. I'm on OS X 10.11.3 and I've had no problems.

Toast 14 is running fine on OS X 10.11.4 (Beta). The last update I got added official support for El Capitan. I'm currently using version 14.1 (3862).

Thanks for the updates. I decided to just buy it and give it a try and Amazon was running a lighting deal on it so it was an additional $9 off. Nice surprise. Will check back here when it arrives on Monday and I give it a spin.

Just wanted to come back and say that I got my copy and it installed without a hitch and has been working just fine with the test projects that I have been working with. Thanks so much for the info and if there is anything else I need to know about using Toast please let me know.
