Still rocking the original AirPods and the original battery case they came with. Just got back from a 2.5 hour hike and both AirPods have 45% of their charge. I know they will die eventually but I am impressed with their durability.

Did you use the Airpods on that 2.5 hour hike? ?
That’s pretty good after 3 years. How many usage hours in the day do you average with them? Through my daily use (at least 4 hours), they lasted about 18-20 months before I noticed severe battery degradation & swapped the buds over for new ones.

My Gen 1 AirPods are still being used by family - but they don't last very long (4 hours?). My AirPods 2 are just starting to show slight degradation after a year+, but still doing very very well.
I use them mostly while jogging with my AW.
