I really wouldn't be surprised if Apple just updated the apple.com homepage with a big graphic touting their 30th anniversary, and left it at that.

Hi All,

Fingers crossed Steve got my email.

As I was born on the same day as Apple, I dropped an email after the request for ideas suggesting that anyone who shares the 30th Birthday get a free mac book. Imn the UK the Queen has given away gold coins to commemorate her anniversay so it would seem like a good idea to get some serious press.

Beyond this everyone who is 30 in the coming year could receive something, and apple could run ads with artists and other famous mac users who are 30 this year.

Who knows.

Only 200,000 something Mac Books to hand out... Sounds feasible. :p
