I’ve just found out that the today view widgets can be accessed whilst swiping from the left when the device is locked. Not all widgets show data, but the shortcuts widget pane does work and reports results, but as this is default behaviour in iOS 13.1 PB2 can someone confirm if this happens in beta 3?

I’ve submitted a bug report anyway.

Hasnt this always been an option? Or are you saying you've disabled this option and its still letting you do it?

If you go to Settings then either "Touch ID & Passcode" or "Face ID & Passcode" depending on your phone then scroll down to the "Allow Access When Locked" and Today View is in there. If its set to allow then you can see it when the device is locked, i've always had it set to allow this so i can see calendar entries etc.

Aye it is an option, just forgot it was there :(

It would be useful if it asked if you want the home screen available whilst locked though. It would be nice if you could define which apps you're happy with sharing information whilst locked as well.
