Hi folks,
here's a guess what will happen at tonights Apple event: Apple will announce MacBooks that start at just $500. That's lower than Macbooks have been for the last 20 years.
Why?
Well first of all MacBooks are now very similar to iPads, and you know how low they can price these.
But there is also the matter of the iPhone SE 2. Which sells a very low price. Why would Apple do that? There is a fundamental change of strategy at Apple: the focus is now about selling services. Selling more services is more important than selling high-priced items. What sells more services? Cheaper iPhones, that's why the iPhone SE 2 has that price.
And you know what also sells more services? Cheaper Macs.
Let me know what you think!
