Today’s update locking up anyone’s phone?

Did the update today, to 12.2 and twice my iPhone XS Max has locked up. Anyone else having issues?

What do you mean with fail / lock up.
Update abort with Error 9? Happened to me three times while updating my iPhone XS Max when iTunes checked update with Apple servers.
Switched cables, than it worked, but I guess that was a coincidence.

Meaning screen keeps locking up, had to hard reboot twice

Is this happening within apps or generally in the Home Screen itself?

Not seeing it on my 8.

Might try doing a setup as new, see if still wonky. If not, might be a problematic app, or something in your setup, especially if you've been dragging your setup over many iterations of OS/backups with each new device (happens: my phones were ok from 2008 until 2017, then had all sorts of issues when setup from backup; setup as new cleared things up).

I don’t know wt* it’s happening but my Xs max is lagging , is stuttering , is insanely slow .. I made a DFU restore , set my phone like new , I installed app by app .. I’ve got a question .. is this iOS or it is a freaking bad joke ?

Working fine on 6s, iPad Mini 4, 8+, iPP (9.7) and XR. Don't think iOS is a joke.
