I have a question regarding an iPhone App that I have loaded on my work iPhone 3GS.

A number of my work colleagues use ‘ToDo+Cal+Sync’, provided by plan44.ch, to sync Calendar, Contact and Task information with MS Outlook 2007.

I am using Version 2.6.2 (SyncML Engine V 3.4.0.22) and have a specific Contacts sync problem which has occurred recently following an update of this App, but might not necessarily be caused by it. I have created a number of Contact groups – ‘CJ Work’, ‘Friends and Family’, Car’, ‘Holiday’ etc in my personal home iMac and synced these with my work iPhone through iTunes. I have an address book on Outlook at work that is called ‘Contacts’ which the iPhone, through ToDo+Cal+Sync, has previously successfully synced with. When I previously synced it managed to sync my CJ Work contacts ONLY, leaving my personal Contacts on the iPhone and my iMac at home. This is ideal for me as I don’t want any personal Contacts on my work Outlook address book. However, a recent sync through ToDo+Cal+Sync resulted in EVERY Contact being transferred to my work Outlook address book.
I have moved all of the personal Contacts from my work Outlook address book into a new address book called ‘Personal’ in advance of deleting them, but if I then sync again all personal Contacts that I need on the iPhone will also be deleted! In addition, if I then sync at home through iTunes, all my personal Contacts that I need on the iMac will also be deleted. This is not ideal.
I have looked at the settings in the App. and the ‘Contacts to include in sync’ is set to ‘Local address book only’ – ON. If I set this to OFF, it doesn’t sync at all.
Does anyone know if it is possible to sync only my work related Contacts on Outlook and not sync my personal Contacts at work, but sync them at home and retain them on the phone? Have you any advice you can give me?
