Our company had a 30 GB video ipod in lost & found for over a year so i decide this weekend to take it home and play around with it. Once it was charged, it worked great. However, while brushing my teeth I dropped it in the toilet. Nice, eh?

I grabbed it out quickly but received the sad face icon. Knowing the warranty would be gone, I opened it up and dried everything out. Surprisingly the video works again but the click wheel only allows you to reset it and nothing else. I restored it to factory settings and itunes and my ihome reads it, but the click wheel still doesn't work.

Any suggestions, I'm willing to open it up again?

if you want to spend some money these guys may be able to help sinice it appears that the only defective piece is the wheel you can get a new one for around 25 bucks from them
