If your MBA meets the specifications then you will be fine. We tested the game on MBA's during development some of them meet the specs and some did not.

It looks like your MBA will meet the specs but you have not posted your graphics card information.

I think you will have a HD4000 card which will be fine.

Thanks Edwing for the fast response. I have an Intel HD Graphics 4000 with 512 RAM. I think it should be ok as wellbut I wanted to check if someone has actually tried and if there are any issues

Checked again just for you, we tested Underworld on a new HD4000 MBA it runs fine, you will even be able to turn some (but not all) of the settings up a little.

Enjoy!

I forgot to mention the game has a graphical bug caused by turning on FSAA this effects 10.7 and the HD4000 only.

It has been fixed by Apple in 10.8 Mountain Lion. You can avoid the bug by not using FAAA in 10.7 if you own a HD4000 machine.

I bought Tomb Raider Underworld last weekend in the Mac App Store and played it on my MacBook Air late 2011 (i7 1,8 GHz, 4GB DDR3, Intel HD3000). It runs very smooth, but of course fans are getting loud. Therefore I recommend playing with headphones.
