I remember reading it somewhere where it stated what time you can pre pre order till, but can't find it now.

Guessing maybe 8am UK time or something, or when they take the store down as they do each year?

The times are on the main page, there is an article on it.

For me, its 8am Eastern time, so I always have the ipad and iphone up side by side and I keep refreshing the store app, as one always comes up WAY before it does on the other device.

I don't mean when do preorders start, I mean until what time can I change my 'get ready for preorder' items.

Since I'm in PDT, I have to set the alarm for the ungodly hour of 4:30 am. Actually setting two alarms just in case I sleep through one.

From where I'm sitting this new time is fine. I'm central USA so it's 7am. This is good. I can pre-order and then go back to sleep count sheep (fellow sheep that is).

That’s 3am east coast which didn’t make sense either. Don’t know why they don’t do it at about 9am pacific. Whole US is up then.

lol I don’t. Thats 3am EST. F that noise 🤣

That’s true, the 3am eastern time was even more ridiculous than the 5am PDT is. It just sucks to have to wake up in the middle of sleeping, preorder, then attempt to go back to sleep for another 1-2 hours and then wake up for a full day of work.

I could get onboard with the 9am PDT. That could also help those living in Alaska and Hawaii who want to preorder.

I think I remember reading years ago that Tim Cook likes to wake up early so that’s probably one reason it is at 5am PDT.

Only option is to just stay up and hang out on here, and I've thought about it, then it'll be easy to get to sleep at 5:15ish I'm guessing.

I still remember the days of waking up at 2 am CT to preorder. Barely fall asleep just to get up and then try and fall back asleep. I really appreciate the 7 am CT ordering time. I’m up already anyway. I can preorder and continue on with my day.

Nah, valuable seconds lost 🤣
I remember when I once had an address issue when I tried to order. It was something about the zip code.

Now, my girlfriend and I always put an order in a few days ahead of time for something cheap, such as Airpods Pro tips. Just smoothing the way for the big day.
