TomTom announces price of iPhone car kit!

I can't believe no one else has posted this. Here's a link to the Wall street journal article:

It will be $119.95 here in the U.S., and sold separately from the app. It's not a horrible price IMO, could be better though.

wow. thats a rip off. if i got the app (which i wont because the regular map app is fine), i would just keep the phone in my lap or in a cup holder or on the console or somewhere near that. poor decision for TomTom, IMO
