Pika, I get the point that you hate TomTom for some unknown reason (maybe you just can't afford it and therefore you're jealous?)
But do you have to go into every tomtom thread and piss on it?

Ok well since I never said it in another thread I'll make this my first
$89.99 US
To be so late would expect a better price at least as an intro
We still don't know the price yet but i assume is going to cost $89.99 US if it's 59.99 Euros.
I'll pay the $90 for a quality GPS Navigation app.
It's actually £59.99 pounds sterling.![]()

Which would put it at currently, just under $100 US dollars. I bet this will be about $99 US.
own up, who's bought it...
I cant wait to see the comparin tomtom and navigon.
I have navigon and it looks good (better than tomtom), TTS is nice, lane assist is good, real view is excellent (not sure exactly how useful though) BUT
my standalone Tomtom is more accurate with journey times and more info is displayed at one time (time to arrival, speed etc etc)
I guess there wont be a complete solution that will answer my every need but at the moment the time to arrival part of Navigon is annoying me (its always tooooo ambitious)
Have you updated Navigon to 1.1? That added the option to show additional info on the map screen.I have navigon and it looks good (better than tomtom), TTS is nice, lane assist is good, real view is excellent (not sure exactly how useful though) BUT

...for over one hundred, they need to give me a hell of a good GPS service !![]()
And this is the bottom line for the turn-by-turn nav apps in the App Store. Everyone wants to think there's one 'right' answer, or one application that will do everything they want. The fact is that it doesn't exist currently, and none of the apps including Tom Tom do everything. Each have their strengths and weaknesses. Over time these will surely be refined and features added to bring them up to a more even standard.I guess there wont be a complete solution that will answer my every need
