Does anyone else think it would be great If apple added a way to “signal” us with a tone to let us know when my phone or iPad is fully charged? Sometimes I charge at night when I go to bed and forget about it until I wake up. I’m concerned about over charging or having to check periodically on the status of the charge. Thoughts? Thanks. Paul

Create an automation in the Shortcuts app that triggers when the battery is at 100%. Add an action that plays a sound, or does whatever else you want. Heck, if you have a Apple Home compatible smart plug, you could setup an automation that would automatically turn off the smart plug when the phone is fully charged.

That being said, it won't overcharge. It knows when the battery is full and will only trickle charge so it doesn't discharge.
