Your being very unclear about what your doing and seem to be confused.
To get your phone back to factory condition:
Plug it into iTunes - click on RESTORE and let it restore.
When it has finished it will ask you to activate it - if your on an official iPhone carrier you can activate it.
If it asks you to "restore previous settings from backup" then DON'T make sure you set it up as a NEW phone.
If you want it to stay in factory condition, ie, NOT jailbreaked then just activate it with iTunes.
If your not on an official contract you have to jailbreak your phone and unlock it IF YOU HAVE NOT already unlocked it.
Only you know if you unlocked it when you ran iLiberty - if you did NOT select unlock that it won't be unlocked.
If your not on an official iPhone carrier you have to unlock AND activate before it will work... just jailbreaking will NOT let you use another SIM card.
