Bought it to do a raid 0 setup, however, as I started, I thought to myself, do I really need to do this, it's pretty quick with just one SSD in there. Any of you ever feel the same LOL?

Not me, but then I wasn't worrying about doing raid, I wanted a secondary data drive, which wasn't usb or firewire. I didn't have my cable in my hand for more than 10 minutes before it was inside my mini. No use letting any grass go under your feet!

hijack - I bought the 2x4gb RAM deal at newegg
(-G.SKILL 8GB (2 x 4GB) 204-Pin DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600) Laptop F3-10600CL9D-8GBSQ)
but I now may delay my new mini purchase for a while.

Will 2011 July mini RAM upgrade work in a 2009 mini 2.0ghz? I think I already have the upgrade EFI file.

I have 4gb Ram in now, but imovie editing is getting some beachballs and lags on some projects.

it should but it most likely won't. the bad reviews against that ram mention they put it in 1066 machines not 1333 machines. there are a few threads on this site complaining about 1333 that does not downclock

well, more incentive to buy new Mini sooner than later, I guess. wanting to gather more info and options.
