Hello. I took my non-3g iphone to the genius bar to get it replaced, because the sound is really low. I don't know what happened.

I took it to the store without a sim card, because i had it unlocked. Before I took it, I restored it to original factory settings.

So the lady took my iphone to the back and said yes there was a problem with it and she would replace it, but she said she would replace it when i come back.

she printed out a paper and it said "customer should come back to the store with their original SIM card in order to proceed with a replacement."

now my problem is... i'm t-mobile and i don't have a an iphone SIM.

any suggestions on what I can do? borrow someone's iphone sim? or what.....
please help.

I bought the phone outside of apple/at&t so it didn't come with a sim card.

My aunt has a 3g iphone sim with the plan.. would it work if i put it in my iphone?

problem is im not at & t.

but .. my aunt is coming later. and she has a 3g iphoen with 3g plan.

will the 3g sim work in my 2g iphone.
i have done some research and the answers point to yes.

any input?????

What sound on your phone was really low? I also have an unlocked 2G iphone on T-mobile, and my call volume suddenly went way down.
