Took my # from Verizon with me...

When I activated my iPhone. Does this automatically cancel Verizon or do I have to make that uncomfortable call letting them know that I'm canceling and then they try to do anything to hold on to me.

Taking the # should have cancelled the account, no?

If you have ported it ...AT&T will automatically request your cancellation. If you haven't put a request for porting your account with verizon or wateva is still active.

I ported my number from t-mobile and my account was automatically canceled the next day.

Awesome! Yes, I ported it over, so I guess that means Verizon is cancelled. Love how easy that all was! Love this phone too
