it is double price monitor
i was thinking replace my U2412M with much cheaper monitor ...(
That's going in the opposite direction than one targeted at the start of the thread toward "video, photos , animation, and graphics " work . There are some low-end IPS panels like the HP 23xi or older 2311xi that aren't great but maybe a better "in between" monitors to settle on until you start a revenue stream to get something real.
For the price point you are shifting to $300 and less the uniform and backlghting solutions you'll find aren't going to better than what have now.
