I just noticed a change in the on-iPhone App Store. In the Top 25, there's now a "Top Grossing" list. It looks like they're implementing some of those changes developers have been calling for.

Nice addition. This list has way fewer 0.99 cent apps. I guess this is Apple's answer for a premium apps section that was rumored awhile back.

I noticed the same thing with the .99 apps. Too bad this list is not per category, although this is an improvement.

There are too many recent apps on top for this to be top grossing ever, right? What is it then?

Or am I underestimating AppBox Pro?

No, I think you're right. It must be within the last few hours/days/weeks. Maybe whatever time frame is used for the other two lists?

Can View Top Grossing by Category

That is WRONG.

I was updating my App Icons site when I noticed from the iTunes code that there were pages for Top Grossing for each category.

So, the Top Grossing Apps can be viewed by category, but Apple hasn't updated iTunes to do so. I don't know why.

I was looking at the new app store and noticed that the free apps chart has been removed. Has anyone else noticed this?

i'm glad apple added this. i love that the top 100 lists are now top 200 as well. should help both users and devs out. :)

Not to get off-topic, but I always thoght the "Fart" Apps are the top "grossing" :D:D

Hey, I use your www.AppStoreIcons.com site all the time! Great way to check Top lists without access to iTunes.

Now that Apple tracks Top 200, are you going to do so as well? Thanks!
