I have an iphone 5s and the total number of contacts doesn't show at the very bottom. In the contact list at the very bottom it usually shows the total number of contacts. For some reason it does not show. any solutions?

in ios 9 does it still show how many contacts I have like this?

Yeah, I don't see it there either. Seems like it might have changed in iOS 9.

after asking this question on multiple forums, some people can see the total number of contacts while I still can't see it. weird.

I looked at mine and didn't have a total showing. I then turned hid all groups and selected them one at a time and I had the total back at the bottom (and all groups were visible again).

However, if I then force close contacts, the count disappears next time I open it!

Looks like a bug rather than intentional to me
