I am logging into http://www.icloud.com and all I get is a screen showing where all my Mac devices are. I thought I would be able to see my back ups, photos and so on.
Sorry for being thick!

Ok...first, if your trying to log on to iCloud.com from an iPad, it will not work correctly. Either log on with your Mac, or use an alternate iPad browser that can identify itself as a desktop browser.

You have to enable iCloud on your phone and iTunes. Once this is done, you will have the option to back-up your stuff and once that's done, you should see everything on your account.

Thank you so much! I tried on my Mac Book Pro and I can see everything!
You are a star! I would kiss you if I could!:)
Lol, no problem! Just remember, you can't "see" your backups. You can access your photostream from your iPhoto on MacBook if it's up to date, but on iCloud.com, you can manage your contacts, calendars, iWork, find my iPhone stuff. That's about it.

Oh, you CAN delete your photostream on iCloud, too. Once logged in, click your name, hit advanced or something, reset photostream. Then click photostream off on your iPad/iPhone, then turn it back on. It will be gone!

Thanks again! I can now see how it all works, thanks to you! It was a bit over whelming yesterday as I had not upgraded my iMac to Lion ( i had it downloaded ready to install but was a bit twitchy about it) and I did it yesterday.
No problems, but then I had to install an upgrade to Lion and install OS5 on my iPad and then the new iPhone arrived and I was tired and not really sure of what I was doing!
Anyhow it is all fine now and I am very grateful that you took time to explain it to me!
Next time you come to the UK, I owe you a beer!
