Can we just take a minute for those of us who actually like the Touch Bar to appreciate that Apple haven’t fully killed it off! 😀 13” MBP Touch Bar lives on!!

F, will be missed, I really liked the touchbar despite the controversy

I liked some aspects of it. Like in messages going through for emojis also with predictive text.

The one and only Apple Silicon Mac with a Touch Bar.

I dislike most of it, but I LOVE ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ LOVE LOVE LOVE the context confirm buttons. Whenever some program asks me "Delete", "Save As..", "Whatever" I just press that on the touch bar and done. I enjoy it hugely EVERY . SINGLE . TIME . Before I had to finger precision trackpad to the according onscreen button, a nightmare. I think the touch bar saved me 100rds of lifetime hours.

My 2018 MacBook Pro needs replacement, therefore I'm seriously thinking about buying the last M1 MacBook Pro 2020 just to enjoy the context confirm buttons a few more years.

Btw, how do peeps live without that? Do they really have to finger trackpad the mouse pointer over the according on screen button each time, like in the years before 2016 .. the pre-touch bar age ??

The primary/Yes action button is triggered by pressing the Return key, and the secondary/No and most popups can be dismissed with the Esc key or by pressing CMD + "."

I think that Touch Bar was a cool concept but ultimately it was destined to fail because it was limited to just few computer models. I am a bit sad to see it go, especially since I think that function keys are an outdated concept, but I certainly won't get sleepless nights because of that.

P.S. I did get a chuckle out of "our pros live the full sized function keys" 😅
