A week into running beta 3, this happened to me.

My touch bar is completely unresponsive, not responding to any touch whatsoever. It is updating like normal, just not responding to touches.

I have tried everything i could think of but nothing works.

  • Tried killing the TouchBarServer, and the Control Strip, didn't help
  • Multiple restarts, but that didn't solve the issue
  • Even tried resetting the PRAM and NVRAM.

Works just fine on Bootcamp tho.

Also when booting up into MacOS the touch bar icons are all green. Just another weird thing i recently started seeing at the same time. Might be Related.

Filed an issue using the Feedback Assistant.

Edit: Resolved on Beta 4

The green icons at boot must be a firmware glitch, I get that too, but it works fine when booted into OS.
