I just purchased an iPhone 6 Plus 16GB and the Touch ID software is not recognizing my fingerprint when I go to add a fingerprint. It does the same thing with all my fingers. It acts like it is scanning my finger then it just stops in the middle of the scan at the same point. This makes me think there is something wrong with the Touch ID on my phone. I do have thicker fingers, but I'm not sure if that could be the problem because it makes the same scan on each of my fingers and then quits the scan. The error I get says:

Cover Home Button Completely. Try to cover the entire Home button with your finger.

Like, I said, I have thick fingers so I'm not sure what is going on. Can someone assist?

Boy, I feel really stupid. I didn't see the plastic film over the front of the phone. Removed film and Touch ID works great. I did get to test a full restore of the phone, though, in the troubleshooting process, so, I guess it wasn't a total waste of my time.
