I have a problem on my 13" MacBook Pro. When I set up Touch ID, it works for 1-2 days without a single problem but after that when I am in the log in screen, macbook is asking for my password and not for the Touch ID.
In order to "restart" the Touch ID, I have to delete the fingerprint and add it again.... but it is not very convenient.... what am I doing wrong ?
why isn't Touch ID always enabled ? what is causing this problem ?

Is it happening after you reboot? Like on iOS, you have to type in your password from a cold boot. After that, the TouchID will work - until you reboot again.
