I'm having trouble registering a finger on Touch ID.

A fresh install never prompted Touch ID during set up. Trying to register a finger though the System preferences shows the following error:

If I try to check any of the "Use Touch ID for:" boxes, the following message appears:

Pressing start again does nothing.

Anyone else having a similar issue?

Thanks,

Btw, xartutil --erase-all on the System Recovery terminal doesn't fix the issue.

Downgraded this machine to Mojave and Touch ID still has the same problem.

Firmware issue I guess? Maybe the next Beta fixes it.. or breaks this machine even more.

I’m surprised I’m the only one having this issue tho.

Apologies to everyone for my spam on my own thread :D

xartutil --erase-all on the System Recovery terminal (when you boot up pressing command R) actually fixed it in the end!
