Touch ID unlock faster in High Sierra

Guys, is it just me or is the Touch ID unlock on High Sierra (Golden Master) way quicker at unlocking both from sleep and lock screen than in Sierra?

I'll let you know when 10.13.1 comes out––in the meantime, how are you noticing GPU performance with Metal 2? Interested to know if the 13" 2016 has better expose performance, especially with 4K displays. It's kind of laggy ATM.

unfortunately I don't have a 4K display to test with, but compared to Sierra exposé is much smoother without external displays. I remember sometimes having quite a bit of lag when I had a lot of windows open, but right now it's going super smooth.

Yes it is. Used to annoy me how long it took to unlock an encrypted Pages doc.

Seems faster logging in to me as well. It was fast before, but now is instant.

My LG 4k display is working great with no lag, even though I am connected through HDMI. I just got this though, so no base reference from 10.12.
