So long story short, my dad got mad took my phone and started stomping on it with the heel of his shoe. I just now have gotten it back and at first glance, there is no damage. But after turning it on, the touch screen doesnt work. No matter how hard i press or anything, nothing happens. I do not have apple care warranty. So my question to you is do any of you guys know of a place that can fix this. The glass isnt broken, just the part that senses that you are touching the glass is. Anyone know of a fix for this?

there are some places you can send your phone to that are good search around google for a place near you ........but if you are going the DIY route I suggest buying the whole assembly such as the glass, digitizer and the mid chasis frame..it makes things easier if this is your first time taking apart your iphone...the whole assembly can be bought for about $60-70 maybe cheaper but stay away from ebay and there are plenty of videos on youtube that explain how to do it..if you need a video that shows it step by step let me know and i will send you the link to it...

so ur father go mad at u and stomped on ur 200$ phone first u need father child therapy second if ur not a little kid tell ur mom and make him pay for it

Take the phone to apple.. If the phone doesn't look scratched.. Or damaged.. They will replace the phone or screen for free.. As long as u haven't had the device for over a year
