I got my brand-new 15" Macbook Pro just earlier today. Loving the new thin design, speakers and of course the touchbar.

I was wondering if it is possible to add my own short-cuts to the bar.

It would make sense to "pin" little Apple Scripts in the bar for specific apps: e.g. in Finder: open the current folder in Terminal. Or just by adding a "short-cut for short-cuts" if you know what I mean.

Has anyone seen an app or any hint how to enrich the bar with new features by myself?

It currently isn't possible, but the developer of Better Touch Tool is working on TB support and they say you will be able to do exactly what you want. We'll see.
