It appears all of a sudden, while my phone is charging, the touchID is no longer working and i have to type in my passcode to unlock the phone. Is this a known issue? I feel like this just started to happen and has never happened before.
No need to bother as many user facing the same issue and According to josiedoesit touchIDs are not working while plugged in is that there is an interference between the finger sensor and your finger. This interference is caused by the electric field generated by the charging solenoids (conductive lines) which route from the port to the phone battery. It appears all of a sudden, while my phone is charging, the touchID is no longer working and i have to type in my passcode to unlock the phone. Only a design fix could solve this problem I think. Nothing much we can do from our end.so is there a fix or ?
Wouldn't that assume that all similar devices are affected by this?Only a design fix could solve this problem I think. Nothing much we can do from our end.
Could I say this is what they deserve when designing a thinner device?

Are you using an aftermarket cable or charging adapter? Try using the Lightning cable and adapter that came with the phone.so is there a fix or ?
I would think there would be far more threads and posts about that from different people if that was the case.I would assume all similar devices are affected by this design flaw.
But there might be not that many? Hmm. I get it.I would think there would be far more threads and posts about that from different people if that was the case.
