Has anybody else noticed a problem with using the touchpad to scroll (ie. two-finger vertical swipe) within a Microsoft Word document?

I have found that it has become very jerky and generally hit & miss since installing Sierra. And this is on the Office for Mac version of Word, running natively under Sierra on my MacBook Pro, and on the Windows version of Word running under Windows 7 on Parallels Desktop 12.

I can scroll perfectly smoothly in TextEdit, Pages and within Safari, but as soon as I start working on a Word document it goes all jerky. It was smooth as you like under El Capitan, so I assume it is Sierra that had made the difference, but I can't figure out the logic of it.

I'm lost.
Yup! Office 2011. Word would scroll up fine, but down would be like I was hitting speed bumps walls. This finally made me kick it for LibreOffice. Since then no issues and smoother performance. Not sure what was causing it in Word.

I couldn't wait for a patch to fix it, so I had to make change. Figure I'll try LibreOffice for a while then get the new Office if I find Libre in combo with iWork doesn't meet my needs. Keynote rocks, but the rest may make me cough up some $$.

Yes, choppy scrolling in all Office 2011 apps. No issues with other apps. Hopefully MS will issue a fix soon.
