Hey all,
I was using a friends laptop the other day and her touch pad software had a scroll feature by dragging your finger along the side. Does this type of software exist for Mac OS X?

Any info would be useful ;)

hmm i've heard of this on PC laptops but never mac laptops. I think its a firmware/hardware thing before its a software thing. I seriosuly doubt anyone has softwarel iek this but if they do i'm all in.

Not quite the solution you were looking for, but it gets the job done...

uControl (VersionTracker)

uConrol is a freeware app. that can remap some keys as well as enable a virtual scrollwheel. It does this by assigning a key, that when held down will turn horizontal and/or vertical movements from the mouse/trackpad into scrolling within the active window.

Once installed, there will be a uControl icon in the System Preferences pane that will allow you to set it up.

Hope this helps.
