Let me just say off the bat that the iPad has been working flawlessly for the past few weeks. Until this morning when I started the Reuters Gallery app and started pressing the top right of the screen in landscape mode. It doesn't register the button pushes at all. I have to press about 10 times and even then it's pot luck. Kind of unnerving.

Then I tried the youtube app again in landscape mode. I pinched in, to minimise the vidoe and show the sidebar. Then pushing the related/more from/comments buttons are not responsive. Some are even registering in the youtube search box even though I'm not pressing that area at all...

I figured it might be the Apple case so remove the iPad from the case and give it a good cleaning. Insert it back in, no change. This is frustrating.

It seems to be the small buttons. For example, deleting an app and pressing on the little X that appears is very hit and miss.

Try use a painting/writing app with full screen capability (search for a free one if you don't have one), and see if the specific corner in question register to you touch. Good luck!

Seems that it registers a little below the target which is very annoying.
