Hi i am looking for a strong tough well made case for my iphone 6s. I am willing to put protection over style as that is more important for me after buying a £630 phone. Anyways what cases do you recommend that offer great protection. I really would like the case to have protection on the front screen ideally aswell as having my own screen protector installed. Anyway these are the 4 i have found that are supposed to be tough and got my eye.

1:New Trent Trentium

2:ESR Tough Armour

Rockfrom Crystal

4:Spigen® [Ultra Hybrid] AIR CUSHION

I quite like the spigen but it does not look like it offers much protection on the screen area. Any of you have this ? Thanks for reading.

The esr case survived a 50 ft drop in a YouTube video, for whatever that's worth. I'm going with a rhino shield play proof but it hasn't been delivered yet.

For the solid protection, then would rather go Otterbox defender which is the most solid ...

I question that statement, even many reviews state that the defender isn't that great. IMO the best otterbox is the symmetry, slimmer and still as protective as the defender.

I was going to buy one , it survived 2 50 foot drops as the bloke had the esr in each video of the 50 ft drops .The problem is with it it is not specifically made for the 6s like most cases, and i use thick screen protectors so if the cases are tight they pull my protector of , I have already had hell on with the 6s cases. i am just on writing another thread to which i will link you to and anyone else for more detail.

I like the symmetry too, but it is in no way nearly as protective as the Defender. With that said, for the 6s and 6s plus, I think the defender is overkill with the new aluminum.

Get a Lifeproof Fre and call it a day. Never worry about a screen protector. Never worry about drops, spills, dirt/dust and water elements. Hands down the best case ever made for the iPhone. Oh and no need for expensive device insurance or a the need for a rip-off like the Apple Care.

I used to like lifeproof but I think they've gone downhill. Tried a Nuud with the iphone 6+ and the sound quality was awful, listening to other people sounded like I was in a tunnel and other people constantly told me I sound like garbage. Do you like the sound of the Fre?

I recommended the Rhino because my cousin reviewed it on their channel and dropped it from several stories up and the phone was fine. For a case that's as thin as the Rhino and being able to withstand that kind of impact is pretty impressive. But definitely get what you're comfortable with.

I use the UAG Maverick, it offers a great amount of protection, without adding too much bulk.
It's also made very well and is high quality, and only cost me 20 quid.

Agree with this. You get a nice looking thin case that doesn't sacrifice form over function.

I heard the same thing about Lifeproof until I purchased the new Fre for the 6S. Love everything about the case and no sound issues on either end of the call. Tested this out thoroughly and everyone heard me just fine and vice versa.

I ended up buying a gadegio case of amazon, had amazing reviews 15 quid and i bought it. Best case ive had love it, never ever will i by another spigen case in my life. Absalout bull crappers they are and worst customer service ever. You should check out the gadgeio cases for the 6s, perfect fit and wont pull the screen protector of like the badly fitted spigens.

Most likely a result of the buyout by Otterbox. I was an original owner of a first release life proof and it was great, but have seen poor quality recently... much like otterbox... coincidence? I think not!
