Hello,

I am in need of a program that would be able to track what applications on my Mac are using the most data. I currently have a limit of 250GB's and have been maxing it out lately and I can not figure out how or why.

I don't stream or download movies if that is your first question. I mainly use it to run my home real estate business.

I restarted my Mac yesterday and opened up Activity Monitor so I could check out the data received. I have not used the computer at all but by this morning it had received 12.77GB's of data and I have no clue why. Is there an easy way to find this out?

Would prefer a free or relatively cheap program to help me understand. I tried a search on here and couldn't find what I was looking for (maybe search wrong words). I also did a Google search, but only found stuff talking about monitoring total bandwidth used and not app specific.

I appreciate the help!

Ok, so found a free program called Rubbernet. Let it run all day yesterday to see what was using all the data. I'm newer to using a Mac for a computer and the program shows

Certificate Status (OCSPD) total in = 11.06GB and total out = 140.76MB.

I did a quick search and it looks like that is tied to Keychain?!?! Does anyone know why it would download 11GB worth of data at one time?

Thanks
