I recently subscribed to iTunes Match, and whenever I make changes to tracks listed as "purchased" under "iCloud Status," all the changes revert after I click "update iTunes Match." This is incredibly frustrating, as all my artwork changes, genre changes, artist info changes etc. were all removed with one click. I should note that this does not occur for matched or uploaded tracks. Is this happening to anyone, and if so, how do I fix it?

That's not good. I'll test it later. I just purchased something from iTunes and changed the titles to match my naming scheme for live recordings. It synced those changes to my iPhone 4S. But if they get lost when I force an iTunes match update, I won't be very happy.

My issue happens on ANY track not just purchased. Matched/uploaded...does not matter. My radiohead discography all came from CD's so I took time to get the nice high-res artwork 600x600. Well at random times, sometimes when I do an iTunes match update sometimes not, the artwork changes to low-res crap...but any other changes I make usually stay. If they don't what I have done as a workaround is turn off iTunes match completely...make all your changes, turn on iTunes match and run an update and you should be good to go.

If it doesn't work I apologize, it seems like iTunes Match as much as I hate to say it is still in beta, which baffles me why they rolled it out to other countries so fast.

Update on the issue

iTunes Match seems to be saving all of my changes to track info, comments, composer, etc just fine. The only thing it still reverts is album artwork. I will try the 'turning off iTunes Match, making changes, then turning it back on' suggestion and see what happens.

I just changed all my album art only to have everything disappear.. NOT happy about that

Update x2
Turning off iTunes Match, making changes, then turning it back on seems to have worked. For the time being, my artwork has kept with the changes I made. I hope this problem is sorted out soon though, I don't want to have to turn iTunes Match off and on every time I make a change
