I charge my Watch while I am bathing and a bit after, and then wear it while I sleep and throughout the day. Battery life is fine.Excuse me for the strong words, but this really upset me for years. Nowadays Apple launched some kind of sleep tracking with the Apple watch(which I own and wear every day), but I',m obviously not gonna use it during the night cause then I need to charge sometime during day.
Not for me. My iPhone is probably the least-used screen of my devices. I come home from work, put it down, and often don't touch it again until I'm picking it back up before work in the morning. The Watch is far superior for accuracy. And if someone believes this wouldn't work, it does. You can easily and accurately tell from everyone's screen off statistics when bedtime started and when it ended. Everyone uses their phone before going to bed and when waking up. And then uses it more regularly during waking hours than during sleeping hours.
You don't value your privacy? So be it. Enjoy Android. And by the way WHO gets helped by this overly focus on privacy? I hear all the time people get hacked and harrased online which is awful, but privacy measures doesn't help that generally speaking. The only thing this privacy works does is making things like screen time API not available to IOS developers, it sucks. I think I'm gonna switch to Android.

I may be unique in this, but now you can't say that "everyone" uses their phone before going to bed.

My S3’s battery is still strong enough that this would work fine for me. However, if applicable, the best option is to use your old(-er) model AW as a sleep tracker, by wearing it to bed while your prime time unit charges. I’ve been doing this since I got my S3.My watch is fully charged in about 30 minutes. Charging while showering or sitting in a chair for 30
min. during the day works great.
