I was wondering if anyone around here knew of any programs or techniques that would allow me to do the following:

When I use my Powerbook and get a signal from a wireless access point, be able to track it to the source via say a satalite image or gps thing. I think it would be somewhat interesting to be able to find a connection and then be able to use a program or tool and then instantly know where exactly the access point I'm connecting to is located, without having to walk around and see where my airport signal gets stronger and weaker.
This may sound dumb to some, and is not something that would be used often, I just thought it would be a nifty gadget and cool to play around with.
If you have any ideas let me know. I might have been a little too generic in my explanation but then again it's late and my mind is wondering.

Err... I dunno if the software I'm recommending might help but if you're talking about warchalking, then this KisMac would be what you're looking for. It scans and pin point the GPS location of the AP. You can find it at Versiontracker.com

kisMAC is good, but you'll have to reset your AirPort card everytime you use it which could hinder the time you can track to browse.

I'm guessing you're wardriving or HotSpot hopping, MacStumbler might help, but no GPS compatability.
