I was wondering if anyone around here knew of any programs or techniques that would allow me to do the following:
When I use my Powerbook and get a signal from a wireless access point, be able to track it to the source via say a satalite image or gps thing. I think it would be somewhat interesting to be able to find a connection and then be able to use a program or tool and then instantly know where exactly the access point I'm connecting to is located, without having to walk around and see where my airport signal gets stronger and weaker.
This may sound dumb to some, and is not something that would be used often, I just thought it would be a nifty gadget and cool to play around with.
If you have any ideas let me know. I might have been a little too generic in my explanation but then again it's late and my mind is wondering.
