Other Tracking iPhones from oversea factories

So I haven’t ordered a phone online on Pre-order day since maybe the 5s or 6s, but I remember being able to track the planes as they crossed to the states.

You see I have a bit of a tracking number addiction... does this still happen? Is there still a special site to find them? Or has just postal apps improved enough to do it all through that? Do you even get a tracking number? I don’t remember if I used to track them by order numbers or what.

My favorite sport! Expect to see more of this when our phones go from PFS (preparing for shipment) to shipped.

FlightAware I think is what I've used the past few years -- lots of us just extrapolate from there and cheer on the planes and hope for no typhoons, heh.
