I can no longer click by pushing down on the trackpad. Moving the cursor works fine, and I can get a click by hovering over where I want to click and then tapping.
If I'm correct, the trackpad doesn't actually "push" mechanically, right? It's all haptic feedback. Or am I wrong about this?
I have tried turning off and reenabling "Force Click and haptic feedback" in Settings, but that didn't fix anything.
I am at a loss for what else to try in terms of troubleshooting.
I'd like to see if folks here have some good ideas before contacting Apple or bringing the MB into a Genius Bar
