12.9 iPad Pro 4th gen. Trackpad inactive, and there"s no cursor after update.

I suspect it's something to do with universal control, but never had any luck getting that to work.

Any sugestions?

This using a Magic Keyboard? If so I occasionally have issues that are resolved by me removing it from the iPad and then connecting it again.

I've done restart a couple of times. I'm wondering if I go to factory reset next. or are there other things to try?

Tried that already.
The only thing that changed before the problemwas the software upgrade.

I had already tried that, but wen't to go try it again, and it took a second to realize the trackpad was already working. The iPad has been sitting idle all day, so I guess it just started feeling better on it's own.

I'll take it.

Thanks
