Other Trade in device mistake

Hi all,

I decided to trade in my 11 Pro Max with Apple. After finalizing order, I noticed 12 pro max was mistakenly selected. I tried to change the trade in device on app and site. Do I need to cancel and re-order or call Apple. I wonder if the device can be updated from their end. Or when they receive my trade in, will they just revise the trade in value.

This was my first time preordering from Apple. Thanks

Don't know about switching phones and having them account for it, but I do know if you don't actually send the phone you'll be billed for any remaining balance of payments and obviously any stated credits will be rescinded.

They were unable to modify the order since it’s prepared to ship. Options: decline delivery for return or to follow through with trade in. They will modify the trade in value. I will have the option to pay the difference which is fine. Exactly what I was hoping for instead of canceling the entire order.
