HEllo. After some problems with my MacBook Pro (one of the originals) I am tired of having it seviced and serviced again. I can trade it in for a MacBook C2D 1.83 White with 1 gb ram and 80 gb hd plus some credit for my MacBook Pro CD 1.83, 512 ram and 80 gb HD. I am willing to give up the graphics because I don't use it for anything that intensive anymore. I do photography and hook up my guitar to it but that is about it. Should I do this?

That MacBook is going to be a (somewhat) faster machine, so I would do it unless you value the screen size.

Is this directly with Apple?

Sounds like you should jump on it. If the deal feels good to you, then it's a good deal, right? Hou much credit are they giving you?

Well depends what their offer is. I would say they would go no less then 1600 so probably 100-200 store credit. This isn't a for sure deal yet. I know the store owners son and we were discussing it today.

I got an unoffical offer today of 1300 - 1400. I think I could make them go to 1500 which would cover a macbook c2d 2.0, 1gb ram, 80 gb hd and superdrive. This is in Canadian dollars. The computer would be refurb as I think I can get them to order it from the store.

I do have small scratches and a dent but I think they would repair it themselves anyway as it is under warranty. The case was awarping which has nothing to do with the dent so it is warrantied.

With the dents and stuff I'd say it's a pretty fair offer. I think you'll enjoy the Macbook a lot.

They don't even know about the dents yet, But the case was already warping so it is warranty anyway. They said since it is stil warrantied they could repair all the problems themselves. I want a smaller notebook. All I do it listen to music, podcast, and do photography with photoshop.

So here is the question! Will I enjoy the MacBook? With the following things I do will I be happy with the macbook?

I do Graphic Design
Photography
Podcasting
Music
Counter-Strike 1.6 and CZ and a little source
