My Air 3 is still a great tablet, but I absolutely can’t stand the constant refreshing in the background. Will the 8gb of RAM in the Air 5 keep this from happening?

I only had three apps open (Facebook, Arlo, Chrome w/ two tabs) and while switching through them, Facebook annoyingly refreshed.

Apple don’t really offer much for the Air 3 right now (£120 I think), so if I was you I would keep your Air 3 as a secondary iPad (it’s still a very good iPad) and buy the Air 5 on it own. Use them both and alternate between them when the other is low on battery etc. That’s what I do with my Air 3 and 4.

The Apple Store app is offering me $230 USD for it.

I just checked, in the UK Apple actually offering me £140 ($183) for my Air 3, so if they offering you $230 (£175), then that’s not too bad actually, you guys lucky in the US haha.

That will mean just paying the remaining $369 for the Air 5, and you will get a lot for your money... newer minimal bezel form factor, usb c, larger screen, centre stage and of course the full fat M1 and its 8 GB RAM.

I upgraded my 64gb Air 3 to a 256gb Air 5. The Air 3 would become unresponsive at times, and the new device has not exhibited that behavior at all. I am very happy with the upgrade. Macmeanoffer bought my mint condition wifi 64gb Air3 for $255.
