The cover letter says “do not send back accessories unless stated specifically in shipping tips”.

In shipping tips it doesn’t mention iPad specifically, but says “Please include your power pack and peripherals such as keyboard and mouse where applicable ie iMac product”.

Anyone any experience of this?

If it was me and depending on the company you’re doing the trade with (you didn’t mention whether it was Apple), I’d contact them to ask and get it in writing. I traded in an iPad at an Apple Store and they didn’t want the charger or cable.

I would personally include the charger for extra money back.
