Do they usually remain the same throughout the year and only change after new iPhone announcement/release?

A few weeks ago, I would have bet that high trade in prices would last through the holiday season to boost sales. But with all the recent reports of the 11 models selling so well that Apple is increasing production, that may not be the case. If you are considering trading in, I’d strike while the iron is hot!

No they do not. Soon current trade in prices will start to drop. This year current trade in prices was higher than usual.

I see. I got the impression as long as there are no new models announced, the trade in price will remain the same. For example, if the current trade in price of iPhone 11 is $x, it will be same till iPhone 12 is announced.
