Upgraded to a Mifi 2200. Pretty cool little device. I used the 760 plugged into my macbook pro for internet access for customer demos, customer worksite access, ect.
The Mifi hits the 3G cell network and puts out a small, 5 member wifi network. This will be perfect for my ipad. The speed is much faster than the 760 modem and much, much , much faster than AT&T 3G.
I have a dead spot in my room where I watch KU basketball on TV, so I fired up the Mifi, set it on the table and then hit that wifi from my iphone and it hauled.
Anyway, seems like a good solution for the ipad. No way can I wait for the 3G to come out and work pays for the verizon access, as long a s I don't abuse it, I have 5GB in a month to play with. Kinda impressed. Why was Verizon so shortsighted and not just kiss jobs ass. I would have, but I knew apple had a home run the second I say the iphone.
