Tranferring AppleID to MobileMe, with iCloud

Hi guys.

I'm using my gmail account as my AppleID since I bought my first iPod. I bought a lot of apps on my iPhone and iPad with this account and later I started using MobileMe. I found out that it is impossible to transfer one account to another, so I have got two mailboxes. My question is, with iCloud, is it going to be possible to transfer my gmail Apple ID to my MobileMe account (which is active but not as my ID)? Or I will have to transfer my gmail account to new MobileMe account I create..
