Hey gang,

I am transcoding some movies from a friend's project from MKV to M4V for appletv2. If I play the MKV in MPlayerX its perfectly in sync, If I rip with Handbrake .95 using the High Profile setting the audio lags ever so slightly behind the video. I was told the High profile is better quality than the ATV2 setting, nut I don't notice much difference

1. can someone breakdown the differences?

2. I'm re transcoding under the ATV2 setting, I hope this fixes the issue, anyone modifying the ATV2 setting for better quality?

Most MKV files don't need to go through handbrake. Most of them can be remuxed with subler or MKVtools. Saves a lot of time also.
