Hi everyone. I have an older iPad Air circa 2014 running iOS 12.5.7. I have a Mac Pro 5.1 running OS Mojave 10.14.6. Both these have 4 books in the Books app. None of these books were from purchased Apple / App store / iTunes. I have a new iPad 9th generation running iOS 17.5.1, and I would like to transfer these books to the new iPad. I have already set up the new iPad. I have tried connecting the new iPad to the Mac Pro. I have tried Air Drop (I don't think I know how to use it). I have tried iCloud, but that stuffed up my calendar app on the Mac Pro, so would prefer not to use that again. Perhaps I'm dumb, but it should not be so hard to transfer a handful of ebooks to the new iPad, should it ?

Any help would be most appreciated.

Thanking you in advance.

Thank you Apple_Robert. I appreciate your reply. I actually managed to do it by connecting my new iPad to the Mac Pro. I did this numerous times yesterday, and the books were not showing in iTunes. For some reason, they were in iTunes when I connected up the iPad a few minutes ago. I have not the faintest idea why there are there today and not yesterday.

Thank you again.
